Shrugging Frankenstein Monster With Palms Turned Up

A tall, goofy Frankenstein monster stands with both arms held out and his palms turned up, as if he is shrugging. He has a flat-topped head with spiky hair across the forehead, a heavy brow, wide round eyes, and a long chin with a crooked smile. A round bolt sits on the side of his forehead, and a larger bolt sticks out of his neck. He wears a buttoned jacket with rolled-up sleeves over a plain shirt, short pants, and chunky platform shoes. The lines are bold and clean, so the page works well for markers and crayons. Try the classic green skin with a dark jacket, then use gray or silver for the bolts so they stand out. It is also a fun starting point for a Halloween table or a lesson on drawing expressions.
