A carved pumpkin face grins wide under a big witch hat with a bent, curling tip. The hat has a wide curved brim and a band around its base with a large rectangular buckle and ribbed sections on each side. The pumpkin has slanted, angry-looking eyes, a small triangle nose, and a curved smile with a few jagged teeth along the bottom edge. Vertical ridge lines run down the pumpkin body, and the brim covers part of the top of the face. The shapes are big and clean, so they work well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring the hat in purple or black, the buckle in gold or silver, and the pumpkin in a few shades of orange, using the ridge lines to switch tones. This free printable also makes a nice Halloween table activity for a classroom.
