A smiling baby elephant stands on all four feet in the grass, trunk curled up to show off a big scoop of ice cream. The scoop sits on a waffle cone with sprinkles on top and drips running down the sides, and the elephant seems to hold the cone against its body too. It has large round eyes, big floppy ears, a small tuft of hair on its head and a tail with a little tassel. A sun with short rays shines in the top corner, and a few grass tufts surround its feet. Large shapes and clean lines work for young kids, and older ones can enjoy the small details. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the elephant's head, body, and legs with sky blue, leaving the eye whites and the mouth corner white.
- 2Color the back ear, the drip on the trunk tip, and the two ice cream scoops with soft pink and bright pink as shown.
- 3Fill the waffle cone with caramel brown, including its pointed tip at the bottom.
- 4Color the sun with golden yellow and the tongue with coral red, then add royal blue to the tail tip and back leg and bright blue to the tail base.
- 5Paint the toenails with cream white and keep the grass tufts white or outline them in black.
- 6Optional: add a little darker blue along the belly and legs for a soft shadow that makes the elephant look rounder.
