Bear Hugging a Big Hamburger on a Log
Coloring guide
A cheerful teddy-style bear sits on a cut log, both paws wrapped around a giant hamburger, grinning wide with its tongue showing. The burger has a sesame-seed bun, ruffled lettuce, a slice of cheese and thick patties, so there's lots to color. The bear's round ears, fluffy fur edges and big foot pads face the viewer. Two tall evergreen trees and a few leafy bushes form a simple forest behind it, and small flowers with petals and leaves sit around the log and along the bottom. Thick, clear outlines and roomy shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids, and this free printable is handy for a rainy afternoon or classroom snack time. Golden brown for the bun, bright green for the lettuce and yellow for the cheese work well, and soft honey-brown fur will help the burger pop. - 2Color the top bun of the burger in amber orange and the bottom bun and the log ends in honey yellow.
- 3Fill the burger's inside: cheese in bright yellow, patties in dark brown, tomato slices in tomato red, lettuce in leaf green and bright green, and the pickle in olive green.
- 4Use forest green for the pine trees and bushes, bright green for the grass, and light pink for the bear's inner ears, tongue, and paw pads.
- 5Leave the eye whites, the flower petals, and the background white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of dark brown on the bear's belly and the log edges for a little depth.
