A cheerful cat with closed, smiling eyes and an open mouth leans over the top of a big round jack-o'-lantern, gripping the rim with both front paws. The cat wears a pointed witch hat decorated with little stars and dots, and its fluffy tail curls around the left side of the pumpkin. The pumpkin has vertical ridge lines, triangle eyes, a small round nose, and a wide grin with two pointed teeth hanging down. A thin crescent moon sits in the upper left, and a simple horizon line runs across the page behind the pumpkin. The large open shapes are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try a deep purple hat with yellow stars, then color the pumpkin orange and leave the carved face a bright glowing yellow so it looks lit from inside.
