Monkey on a Vine Beanie Boos Coloring Page with Toucan
Coloring guide
A smiling baby monkey hangs from a curvy jungle vine with one hand and holds a peeled banana in the other, and the big cheerful grin is hard not to love. Its tail curls into a spiral on the left, and the big round eyes and ears leave lots of room for detail. At the upper right, a toucan with a large curved beak perches on a leafy branch. Large split monstera leaves and smaller pointed leaves surround them, and two hibiscus flowers with long stamens sit in the lower corners. Clean, bold lines work well with crayons or markers. Yellow fits the banana and the toucan's beak, warm brown suits the monkey's fur, and bright pink or red is great for the hibiscus blooms. Print or download the free page for a quick coloring break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the monkey's face, belly and banana tops in light cream, leaving the eye whites and the shine spots on the eyes white.
- 2Fill the monkey's head, arms, tail and body in warm brown, and the ears' outer parts in light brown.
- 3Color the ear insides, cheeks and open smile in blush pink and salmon pink.
- 4Use golden yellow for the banana, the toucan's chest and the toucan's body, then add orange to the big beak with a bright red tip.
- 5Color the large leaves in forest green, lime green and dark green, and add royal blue to the toucan's wing, tail and eye ring.
- 6Finish the hibiscus flowers in bright red, hot pink and blush pink, and leave the monstera leaf highlights and background white. Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the bottom edges of the brown fur for depth.
