A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the cloud in pale blue, then fill the falling raindrops and the puddle splashes with sky blue.
- 2Color the dog's head, neck, front and back legs and paws in golden tan, and use chocolate brown for the ears, tail and the shadowed parts of the dog's body. Leave the eye shine white.
- 3Fill the raincoat, hood, sleeves and pockets with lemon yellow, the coat buttons with warm gold, and both puddle boots with lemon yellow, keeping the thin white cuffs on the boot tops.
- 4Color the umbrella panels: bright red on the left, sky blue in the middle, lemon yellow on the right, with the handle in bright red and the hook in black.
- 5Fill the door and its panels with sky blue, the door knob with lemon yellow, the two boots by the door with bright red, the step and its edge with light gray, and the dog's tongue with soft pink.
