Serious Harley Quinn Portrait With Pigtails and Bat

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• golden yellow
• light peach
• brick red
• steel blue
• warm brown
• coral pink

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with light peach on the face, neck, ears, and both arms and hands, leaving the thin white strip near the hand white.
2. 2Fill the long hair, both pigtails, and the top of the head with golden yellow, keeping the edges neat.
3. 3Color the jacket in steel blue and the shirt and high collar in brick red.
4. 4Paint the bat in warm brown, including the rounded handle end, and add the brick red hair tie at the top of the pigtail.
5. 5Add coral pink to the lips and leave the eyes white with small dark pupils.
6. 6Optional: add a few light strokes of a darker shade in the jacket folds and hair to give depth.
