Have Courage and Be Kind Flowers and Swallows
Coloring guide
A curled ribbon banner stretches across the middle of the page with the words "have courage" written inside it, and "and be kind" is lettered in outlined script along the bottom. Above the banner sit several large flowers, including a round daisy-style bloom with long, thin petals and a layered, pointed-petal flower in a bolder outline. Smaller daisies are tucked into the lower left corner and along the edges. Three small swallows fly around the scene, one near the top right, one in the center and one beneath the banner next to two shaded leaves with visible veins. The banner and leaves have fine hatching lines, while the flowers are mostly open shapes. Try coloring the letters of "courage" in a bold shade and keeping the petals soft, so the quote stands out. It also works as a printable starting point for a short talk about kindness with teens.
