Hello Kitty on the Grass with a Basket, Cozy House and Rainbow
Coloring guide
Sitting on the grass in overalls, Hello Kitty has a neckerchief tied at her collar and her signature bow on her head. In her hands is a small woven basket that seems to hold round shapes and a few little stars. Behind her stands a cozy house with a chimney, a pitched roof, two windows and an arched door. Three rounded trees stand on each side of the house, a big rainbow arcs across the top and small tufts of grass dot the ground. Bold lines and large shapes make it easy for children still learning to color inside the lines. A bright red bow, pink or blue overalls and a full rainbow would look great. - 1Start with the rainbow: color the outer band bright red, the middle band golden yellow, and the inner band sky blue, leaving the space inside white.
- 2Fill the house roof with bright red and the walls and gable with cream yellow, then color the chimney and its top warm brown.
- 3Color the door and the basket warm brown, and color the trees: lime green for the rounded crown, grass green for the right tree, and warm brown for the trunks.
- 4Paint Kitty's dress and bow in bright red, and her collar and shoulder straps in baby pink, leaving the apron center and face white.
- 5Add the grass tufts and the bush in forest green and grass green, then fill the basket flowers with rose pink and the nose with golden yellow.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shade along the edges of the rainbow and the dress to make the colors pop.
