Waving Hello Kitty Standing by a Framed Landscape Picture
Coloring guide
Hello Kitty is standing in front of a big framed picture on the wall. One arm is up in a friendly wave, and the other hand holds a flat book or folder. She's dressed in a bow, a striped long-sleeve shirt and overalls with two round buttons. A shy little mouse-like friend with big round ears and a long curly tail looks up at her from beside her. Inside the frame there's a sun with little rays, rolling hills, two tulip-style flowers and a round fluffy tree, so there's lots to color. Sunny yellow works for the sun, bright pink or red for the tulips, and soft green for the hills. It's a free print that suits a classroom project or a weekend craft. - 1Start with the big picture background: color the sky light sky blue and the frame golden yellow.
- 2Fill the grass field with lime green and the rolling hill with fresh green, leaving the flowers white for now.
- 3Color the tree top leaf green and its trunk brown, then fill the sun with bright yellow.
- 4Color Hello Kitty's overalls royal blue, then add the bow, bow center and the red book in red.
- 5Use bubblegum pink for the arm sleeves, overall strap, tulips and the creature's cheeks, and use lime green for the creature's body.
- 6Finish with the small details: the scarf and wrap in fresh green, the buttons and creature shoe in royal blue. Optional: add a little extra shading on the hills and sky for depth.
