A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the hair by filling it in golden yellow, keeping the light strands a touch brighter where they catch the light.
2. 2Fill the face, neck, and both hands with peach skin, leaving the eye whites untouched so they stay bright white.
3. 3Color the shirt, both sleeves, and the lacing with cream, keeping the small highlight spots on the sleeves white.
4. 4Fill the vest and the boot straps with chestnut brown, then color the pants with olive green.
