How to Draw an Astronaut Step by Step

Coloring guide
Six small drawings show an astronaut being built up one stage at a time. The first step is a simple circle for the helmet. Next come a smiling face with a pointed chin and a tall oval for the body. After that, the helmet gets a rim and the hair, and small ovals mark the shoulders and feet. Later steps add a square chest panel, round gloves, arms and legs with bands at the elbows and knees, and side pieces on the helmet. The fifth drawing adds a curved hose running from the helmet to the backpack area, plus two round buttons on the chest. The last drawing is a finished color example with brown hair, gray suit parts, and red and green buttons. Kids can follow along in order, then print the page and color their own astronaut, copying the colors shown or choosing a new suit color and button colors.
