Watering the Garden with Huggy Wuggy (Poppy Playtime)
Coloring guide
Huggy Wuggy stands upright in a flower patch with a big grin, tipping a watering can so droplets fall on the blooms below. One furry hand grips the handle and the other holds the spout, and those round eyes and toothy smile make him look surprisingly friendly. Tulips and several daisy-style flowers with layered petals and leaves sit around his feet, along with a few small grass tufts. A sun with triangle rays shines in the sky next to two puffy clouds. The large, open shapes are easy for younger kids, and the fur edges leave older kids room for extra detail. Bright blue fur with red, pink and yellow petals will make the garden pop, and light blue raindrops from the can finish it off. This fits right in with our Huggy Wuggy (Poppy Playtime) coloring pages — see also 101 Dalmatians and Warrior Cats.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big blue fur of the body, head, arms and legs in sky blue, leaving the eye whites and the teeth white.
- 2Fill the sun and its rays and the watering can in golden yellow, keeping the spout area bright.
- 3Color both clouds in baby blue, leaving the inner shapes white for a soft look.
- 4Paint the tulips with tomato red and violet purple, the pink flowers in rose pink, and their centers in golden yellow, keeping the daisy petals white.
- 5Color the stems and big leaves in grass green, then add mint green to the small pale leaves near the flowers.
- 6Optional: add a coral pink tongue and a cream edge along the smile for a bit of extra depth.
