A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big brown areas: fill the bear's head, body, belly, arm, paw and feet with warm caramel brown, leaving the nightcap and ice cream scoop white.
- 2Color the red shirt and its collar with bright red, following the outline of the shirt around the belly and arm.
- 3Fill the waffle cone with light orange, then add the criss-cross pattern lightly so the waffle look shows through.
- 4Use pale cream for the lighter foot pads on the bear's feet.
- 5Color the ice cream icing and the tongue bubblegum pink, leaving small white gaps as sprinkle shines between the pink strokes.
- 6Optional: add a little darker brown shading under the bear's chin and along the lower body for depth, then finish the white nightcap edges with clean white paper.
