Independence Day Banner With Stars and Stripes

Independence Day Banner With Stars and Stripes coloring sheet

Coloring guide

Large outlined letters spell out INDEPENDENCE DAY across the middle of the page, with two wide rounded bars above and below the text. At the top sits a block divided into five tall vertical panels with a row of six outlined stars along the bottom edge. A matching block of five vertical panels sits at the bottom, with its row of six stars along the top edge. The stars overlap the panel lines a little, which gives the page a hand-drawn look. The wide bars and panels are big and open, so they are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring the panels in alternating red and blue, leaving some white, and make the stars yellow or silver. Older kids can color the letters too and count the stars, twelve in all, as a quick counting activity before a 4th of July party. The printable works well for classroom celebrations or a quiet afternoon at home.
