Inkling Boy Leaping With Splattershot and Goggles

An Inkling boy from Splatoon is caught mid-jump, one leg kicked high behind him and the other foot pointing down. He wears large goggles on his head and a determined, frowning expression. A big water-tank style blaster is aimed forward, with a round backpack tank behind it. His hair tentacles stick up in leaf-like shapes on top. He has high-top sneakers with arrow-style details on the sides, plus loose shorts and a layered shirt. Wavy ink trails hang off the raised shoe, and a few small splatters and droplets float at the lower left. A swirly ink puddle sits under his lower foot. This page works well for practicing contrast. Try two bright ink colors for the splats, hair, and sneakers, then use cooler tones on the goggles and blaster so the action pops. The wide open areas also make it easy for younger kids to color.
