Iron Man Flying Above Rooftops in Armored Suit

An armored hero seen from above hovers in mid-air with his arms held out to the sides and his legs pointing down toward the bottom of the page. The suit has a rounded helmet with a face plate, a large triangular chest panel, ribbed plating across the torso, and heavy boots with chunky treads. Wavy cloud-like outlines swirl around his body, which makes him look like he is rising or coming to a stop. Behind him, long straight bands cross the page like ledges, walls, or rooftops, with small segmented blocks along some edges. Try red and gold for the armor, then use cool grays and blues for the structures below so the figure stands out. The clouds are a good spot to practice soft shading with light colors. This free printable page also works well for talking about perspective and looking down at objects from high up.
