Jesus Is Alive Easter Cross with Garden Creatures

A tall wooden cross stands in the middle of the page with a crown of thorns hanging near the top and a draped cloth wrapped across the center. Around it are a butterfly in the upper left corner, a caterpillar resting on the left arm of the cross, a bird perched on the right arm, and a bee flying nearby. At the bottom, two smiling flowers with big petals grow on a grassy hill, with a small daisy and a tulip in front. The words "Jesus Is Alive!" sit on the left, and a short message about Jesus dying on a cross and rising on the third day is printed on the right. Try soft purples and golds for the cloth and bright greens for the grass, then read the message together and talk about why Easter is a hopeful day. The large open spaces on the cross suit younger kids with chunky crayons, and this printable page is free to use at home or in class.
