Johnny the Gorilla Leaning Against a Brick Wall

A tall gorilla with a spiky pompadour hairdo leans casually against a brick wall, one foot propped up behind him and both hands tucked into the pockets of a zip-up leather jacket. Under the jacket he wears a T-shirt with a lightning bolt inside a circle, plus jeans with cuffed hems and lace-up sneakers. Thin earphone cords hang from his ears down across his chest. He looks like Johnny from Sing, and he has a relaxed, cool expression. The brick wall fills the whole background, so there are plenty of rectangles to color. Try giving the jacket a dark, shiny look with grays and blues, then make the lightning bolt a bright yellow so it stands out. The bricks are a nice chance to practice using a few shades of red and brown. This free printable works well for older kids who like detail.
