July 4 Rocket Launching With a Trail of Stars

July 4 Rocket Launching With a Trail of Stars coloring page

Coloring guide

A tall firework-style rocket points toward the upper right corner, with the words JULY 4 written in bubbly outlined letters along its body. The rocket has a pointed nose cone with a couple of stripes near the tip, and two fins at the bottom. Behind it, a trail of stars streams down toward the lower left. The stars come in different sizes, with small ones close to the rocket and bigger ones farther away, plus a few thin dashed lines that show the rocket's movement. The lines are bold and the spaces are roomy, so it works well for younger kids using chunky crayons. Try coloring the rocket body red and the nose cone blue, then leave the lettering white or fill it with stripes. The star trail is a nice spot to practice counting and sorting by size.
