Kawaii Hot Dog with a Squiggly Mustard Stripe

Coloring guide
This simple page shows a sausage with a big open-mouth smile, round shiny eyes and tiny curved eyebrows, snuggled inside a soft, oversized bun. One squiggly line of mustard zigzags down the middle, with little lines marking both ends of the sausage, and the bun curves around both sides in smooth shapes. Nothing else is on the page, just the happy hot dog, so it's friendly for small hands. Thick outlines and large open areas make it easy to stay inside the lines, which helps preschoolers and early elementary kids practicing control. Pick golden yellow for the mustard, warm tan for the bun and reddish-brown for the sausage, and that wavy line will stand out nicely. You could also print it for a food lesson, a picnic party or some quiet time at home. This page is part of our Hot Dog coloring pages collection — check out For Girls and For Kids too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the long sausage in the middle with reddish brown, and leave the small shine spots in the eyes white.
- 2Color both hot dog buns on the left and right with tan, using long strokes that follow the bun shape.
- 3Fill the two thin strips running beside the sausage with cream, leaving a little white at the edges for a soft look.
- 4Color the wiggly mustard stripe across the sausage with golden yellow, keeping its curves smooth.
- 5Color the open smiling mouth with pink.
- 6Optional: add a little darker brown along the edges of the sausage for a bit of depth.
