A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky and clouds in pale blue, then color the sun lemon yellow, leaving the background around them white.
- 2Fill the bushes and grass tufts with leaf green, and color the fence panels warm brown.
- 3Color the faces, arms, hands and legs peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the small highlights white.
- 4Use warm brown for the boy's hair and golden yellow for the girl's ponytail and hair.
- 5Color the boy's shirt and sleeves royal blue, his shorts tan, the girl's dress lavender purple and her top rose pink.
- 6Finish the shoes: sky blue and royal blue for the boy, light pink and rose pink for the girl, with light gray soles and white socks. Optional: add a little darker shade on one side of the dress and shirts for depth.
