Baby Rapunzel with the King and Queen, Frozen Collection Pick
Coloring guide
A tender family moment fills the page. A queen with closed eyes and a gentle smile cradles a wide-eyed baby, and a bearded king in a matching crown leans in beside her. They appear to be the king and queen of Corona holding baby Rapunzel from Tangled. The baby is wrapped in a soft blanket, one tiny hand reaching up toward the queen. There's lots to color, from the jeweled crowns and dangling earring to the king's puffed, striped sleeves and the queen's flowing gown. With no background, the figures really stand out on this free printable. Warm gold would look right on both crowns, and a soft lilac or pink on the baby's blanket. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the faces, necks, chests and hands of the king, queen and baby by filling them with peach skin.
- 2Color the king's and queen's hair with caramel brown and chestnut brown for the darker strands, and use honey gold for the baby's blonde curls.
- 3Fill the crowns with bright gold, then add the red gem on the queen's crown with bright red, leaving small white shines on the crown.
- 4Color the king's large cloak in crimson red and the big puffy sleeves in royal blue, with honey gold trim on the shoulders and pale gold at the bottom hem.
- 5Fill the queen's cloak and the baby's outfit with violet purple and rose pink, and the lower dress with lilac and pale pink, keeping the collar in cream white.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a darker shade of each color along the folds of the sleeves and under the crown edges for depth.
