Bakery Window I Spy with Kitten, Cake and Croissant
Coloring guide
Resting its paws on a bakery window ledge, a curious kitten gazes at a table full of treats. In the middle stands a two-tier cake on a pedestal, decorated with scalloped icing, flowers, a dotted border and three cherries on top. Next to it is a woven basket of round bread loaves with a checkered cloth. The table also holds three cupcakes topped with cherries, a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a big croissant. Behind them, the window shows a little house and puffy clouds, with a scalloped awning above. A chef's hat and a rolling pin hang from hooks on the wall. Red cherries and warm golden brown for the bread and croissant would look tasty. Grab the free PDF and print it at home for a fun afternoon. This fits right in with our I Spy coloring pages — see also Bubble Letters and Countries.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky in the window panes using sky blue, and add leaf green for the bushes and the grass outside.
- 2Color the wooden table, the window frame and the rolling pin in warm brown, leaving the plate rims white.
- 3Fill the awning with cherry red and lemon yellow stripes, and paint the chef hat cream white with a pale blue hat band.
- 4Color the cake tiers pale yellow, add bubblegum pink frosting bands, and make the cake stand pale blue.
- 5Give the bread and the kitten caramel orange, and use deep orange for the croissant and its shadows.
- 6Finish with salmon pink napkins, cookies, cupcake frosting and cherries, leaving the cream on top and the cloud spots white. Optional: add a little warm brown shading under the cookies and cupcakes for depth.
