A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the kitten: fill the head, ears, and body with tabby orange, then add warm orange on the paws and cheeks, leaving the eye whites and the white paw unpainted.
- 2Color the big round rug and the floor with sky blue and pale sky blue, keeping the white floor corners and background blank.
- 3Build the tower of blocks: alternate bright red, sunny yellow, grass green, bright blue, and lemon yellow on the stacked cubes, then color the single blocks in sky blue and leaf green.
- 4Fill the teddy bear and the bookshelf books with chocolate brown and tabby orange, and paint the toy box bright blue.
- 5Color the train: make the engine bright red, the middle car grass green, and the wagon sky blue, then add the kite and the flower pot in leaf green and violet purple.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the kitten and blocks with a deeper tone of the same color for a bit more depth.
