Large Shark Swimming Upward With Gill Marks

Coloring guide
A single shark glides diagonally across the page with its snout pointing toward the upper right. You can see a small eye and nostril near the nose, and a curved mouth that sits slightly open on the underside of the head. Just behind the head there is a patch of short vertical dashes where the gills would be. The tall dorsal fin rises from the back, a pointed pectoral fin hangs below the belly, and the tail fin sits at the lower left with two long lines trailing along the underside. The outlines are clean and thick, with big open body areas that suit crayons and markers. Try shading the back darker gray-blue and leaving the belly lighter, which is a nice way to talk about how real sharks are colored. This printable page works well for ocean units at home or in class.
