Laughing Buttercup With One Arm Stretched Out

Buttercup floats in mid-air with her eyes squeezed shut and her mouth wide open in a big laugh. Her round head takes up most of the page, topped with a solid black bob that flips out at both sides and has long bangs swept across her forehead. One arm stretches out to the left, while the other hangs down beside her striped dress. Her legs are bent and crossed at the bottom, with small shoes that have simple stripe details. The linework is bold and clean, so it suits younger kids with chunky crayons. Try a bright green dress with black stripes, as the character is usually shown, then let kids choose a fun background color. It's also a nice way to talk about showing happy feelings through faces and body poses.
