Laughing Romeo in a Lab Coat, PJ Masks

Coloring guide
Romeo from PJ Masks stands grinning with his hands on his hips and his eyes squeezed shut in a big laugh. His swept-back, spiky hair fans out in bold strokes and round goggles sit across his face. He wears a long lab coat with three little buttons down the front, a buckled strap across the chest, a high collar, short pants and slip-on shoes. Nothing is in the background, so kids can concentrate on him. The wide hair stripes and the coat are good for practicing careful coloring. White or pale blue suits the lab coat, and bright purple or deep blue would make the hair stripes stand out. Grab this free printable for your coloring collection. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big skin areas: fill the face, nose, and both hands with peach, leaving the teeth and mouth white.
- 2Color the whole spiky hair in medium brown, then add dark brown on the tips of the top spikes for depth.
- 3Fill the sleeves, the glasses frames, and the lab coat's lower trim with royal blue, and color the pant legs and coat hem sky blue.
- 4Color the socks light gray, the left shoe bright red, the right shoe charcoal, and the strap and eyebrow medium brown.
- 5Keep the lab coat, lens areas, eye whites, collar, buckle, and shoe soles white for a clean, bright look. Optional: add a few light shadow lines in a darker shade along the hair and coat folds.
