Coloring guide
A blocky Lego-style ninja stands on a rocky ledge and aims a huge bow with a thick, twisted string. The arrow has a big pointed head and points to the right. His wrapped hood has a knot on the forehead, and a mask covers the lower face so only the eyes show. One arm is raised, and a second arrow sticks up behind his shoulder. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big rock background: fill the cave walls, ledges and rocky ground with slate blue gray, leaving the sky and the top right edge white.
- 2Color the ninja's body and boots in fire red, including the hood, shoulders, arms, legs and knee pads, and leave the small white highlights on the armor lines.
- 3Fill the crossbow and its arrow with golden yellow, adding pale gold on the bow tip and the lighter edges of the limbs.
- 4Color the mask band and the eye strip with bright yellow, and keep the small eye whites white so the face still looks lively.
- 5Add warm taupe to the small stones and ledge bits on the ground, then use charcoal gray for the ninja's fist. Optional: add a few darker lines in the rock for depth.
