Link in Profile with Hylian Shield on Back

A young character with pointed ears and short, layered hair is drawn from the side, looking to the left with a calm expression. He wears a big pointed hood that falls down his back and ends in a long curled tail on the left. A sword hilt with a crosshatched grip rises above his shoulder, and a small stitched detail sits on the hood. A large shield is strapped to his back, decorated with the Triforce, a winged crest, and curved ornamental shapes. A woven belt shows at the waist. This looks like Link from The Legend of Zelda. The bold outlines make it easy for kids to follow, and the printable page gives plenty of room for detail. Try a green hood and a blue and gold shield, then use fine pencils on the feathered crest and the Triforce triangles.
