Waving to a Faraway Castle, a The Legend of Zelda Coloring Sheet
Coloring guide
On a grassy hill stands a cheerful little boy in a chunky knit pom-pom hat and a short cape, one hand raised in a happy wave at a fairytale castle far off. He has a small pouch on his belt and tall boots, and his big smile gives the whole scene a friendly, wondering feel. The castle has several pointed towers with flags on top, arched windows and a big arched door, and a winding path curls up the hill to reach it. Puffy clouds fill the sky, while round bushes, grass tufts and three daisy-style flowers dot the meadow. This free printable suits kids who love storybook adventures. A bold forest green cape would look great, with soft gray or lavender towers, and bright yellow and pink flowers to pop against the grass. - 1Start with the clouds: color the three clouds at the top of the page sky blue, and leave the sky itself white.
- 2Fill the castle walls, the face, the hand and the castle base with soft peach, leaving the small castle windows white.
- 3Color the cape, the hat crown and the tall castle roofs bright red, then fill the tunic and its belt area bright blue.
- 4Use golden yellow for the hat stripes and the little flower centers, and warm brown for the hair, boots, pouch and castle door.
- 5Add grass green to the bushes, leaves and flower stems, light green to the grass hill, yellow green to the right hill, and pale gold to the winding path. Optional: Add a little darker shade on the cape folds for depth.
- 6Finish the flowers with lavender purple on the big flowers and hot pink on the small ones, then leave the eye highlight white for a bright, friendly face.
