Little Lamb Reaching for an Apple, Calico Critters Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Up on its hind legs, a fluffy little lamb stretches both front hooves toward a big round apple hanging from a leafy branch. The lamb has a happy open-mouth smile, big sparkly eyes, floppy ears, and a curly wool coat with a puffy tail. A woven basket beside the tree trunk already holds two apples with leaves, and a few single leaves drift through the air. Small tufts of grass sit in the bottom corners. Little ones get lots of space for careful crayon strokes in the wool texture, and the large apple and leaves are easy to fill in. Bright red apples with a mix of greens and oranges for the leaves give it an autumn harvest feel. Print the free PDF at home to build up your coloring page collection. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the fluffy lamb body, head, tail, legs and raised arm with soft cream, leaving the little highlight areas white.
- 2Fill the big apple on the branch and the two apples in the basket with apple red, then add a soft pink patch on the lamb's cheek.
- 3Color all the leaves, both on the tree and the floating ones, with leaf green.
- 4Color the tree trunk and branches, the lamb's hand tips, and its hooves with warm brown, leaving the bright trunk highlight white.
- 5Fill the woven basket with honey gold, adding the weave lines and the rim, and color the dark tree shadow near the apple in dark gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the lamb's wool and the basket's inner edge for depth, and keep the background white.
