Captain Baby Shark in a Bubble Submarine with Seahorse
Coloring guide
Out of the round porthole of a bubble-shaped submarine, a smiling little shark in a captain's hat with an anchor badge gives a wave. Rivets circle the windows, there's a periscope on top, another porthole on the side, and a propeller spinning at the back. A curly-tailed seahorse floats at the upper right and three small striped fish swim close by, while bubbles of all sizes rise through the water. Wavy seaweed, branching coral, tube sponges and a rocky seabed run along the bottom, so there are plenty of shapes to fill in. Little hands will like the shark's face and the big porthole, and older kids can take on the rivets and bubbles. A bright yellow sub, a soft blue shark and a navy hat make the captain easy to spot. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big round submarine hull and top hull in golden yellow, and the side bands in amber yellow.
- 2Color the red rings, the top hatch, the pipe base and the porthole frames in bright red, leaving the captain's cap white.
- 3Fill the shark's head and flipper with sky blue, and add ocean blue on its back; keep the anchor on the cap white.
- 4Color the seahorse in tangerine orange with burnt orange on its fin, then add sky blue to the bubbles and small fish.
- 5Use slate gray for the periscope pipe and seabed rocks, leaf green for the seaweed, and coral red for the corals.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of ocean blue or slate gray along the edges for depth, and leave tiny white spots on the bubbles for shine.
