Spiky-Haired Witch, Bat, and Cat Riding Past the Moon

A small witch with short spiky hair and a big floppy hat sits at the end of a long curved broomstick, with the bristles sweeping up near a large crescent moon. A tiny bat with pointed ears and spread wings perches on top of her hat and raises its arms. Beside her, a round-faced cat with a tail curled up holds a star-tipped wand in its mouth. Small sparkles float in the night sky, and soft clouds drift above, behind, and below the broom. The witch wears a cape with round buttons and a little collar. Try dark blues and purples for the sky, then leave the moon and sparkles bright yellow so they stand out. The big clouds and wide cape give younger kids easy areas to fill, while the bat wings and broom bristles suit more careful crayon work. It prints nicely for a Halloween party table or a quiet afternoon at home.
