Long Dragon With Crystal Spikes and Angry Eyes

A long, slim dragon stretches diagonally across the page, with its head at the lower right and its tail tapering off toward the upper left. The face has a frowning brow over a round eye, a tall pointed horn, a leafy-looking ear and spiky fur around the cheek. Small fangs show near the snout. Chunky crystal-like spikes run along the back in a row, getting smaller toward the tail tip. Two little petal shapes float beneath the body. Because the body is one big open area, it works well for blending, so try a gradient from deep purple at the head to light pink at the tail. Kids can also pick a different color for each crystal spike. The free printable page suits all ages and gives lots of room for markers or colored pencils.
