Bolts cover this chunky robot as it leaps forward, and the heading across the top reads Magna Blade. Two curved horseshoe-magnet shapes with screw heads rise from its head like horns, and a round keyhole-style plate sits in the middle of its face. One arm ends in a big spiky drill, and the other hand is a stone-like fist held out to the side. Ribbed panels, a wide belt and lots of rivets cover the chest, while the feet have curved blades with little speed streaks behind. There's no background, which leaves room to focus on all the screws and panels. Silver and gray give it a metal look, and bright red magnet horns add a nice contrast. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big blue areas: color the pants, the thighs, the lower legs and the drill arm on the right in sky blue, leaving the small highlights white.
- 2Fill the arm tubes, the top head arm and the title letters in golden yellow, then color the foot blades and the lower parts of the feet in the same yellow.
- 3Color the chest plate, the central eye disc, the top knob and the left shoulder in bright red, keeping the small round eye accent in the middle.
- 4Shade the metal parts in light gray and charcoal gray: the drill tip, the belt, the chest gear, the hands and the feet joints.
- 5Add coral red to the belt buckles and the right drill base, then use orange and amber for small accents on the hands and waist.
- 6Optional: Leave the white highlight on the title and small shine spots on the drill barrel white for a shiny look.
