Mario Running Forward With Hand Outstretched

Mario leaps toward the viewer in a mid-run pose, one big shoe lifted so the sole fills the lower left of the page. His cap shows the round M emblem, and he has large eyes with a determined brow, a round nose and a thick mustache. One gloved hand reaches out to the left while the other stretches forward near his chin, with the glove's stitching lines and buttons visible. You can also see his overalls, a strap with a button and the cuffs at his wrists. The lines are bold and the shapes are big, so this works well for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try a different shade for the cap and overalls so the shapes stand out, then add some texture to the shoe sole with a pattern of dots or stripes. A free printable like this is an easy rainy day activity at home or in the classroom.
