Match the Mitten Pairs Winter Activity Sheet

Coloring guide
Twenty patterned mittens are arranged in a neat grid of four columns and five rows, each with a ribbed cuff and a different design. You'll spot zigzag stripes, flowers, rings, stars, polka dots, crosshatching, horizontal stripes, diamonds, hearts, and crosshatching with hearts on top. Every design appears twice, so there are ten pairs to find. A line of handwriting at the top asks kids to find the matching mitten pairs and color them in. Try giving each pair its own color scheme, like two blue star mittens and two red heart mittens, so the matches are easy to check at a glance. It works well as a quiet visual discrimination activity for preschool or early elementary. This free printable also makes a good rainy day or cold weather break at home or in the classroom.
