Mew Floating Midair With Long Curled Tail

Mew floats in the air with its big round head turned toward you and its large eyes looking straight out. The small pointed ears sit on top of the head, and the two front arms dangle down with tiny three-toed hands. One long back leg stretches down to the left, ending in a rounded foot with toe lines, while the other foot crosses over the thick tail near the bottom. The tail sweeps up and around in a big loop and finishes in a wide, flat, spoon-like tip at the lower right. The outlines are clean and simple, so the large open areas suit younger kids with chunky crayons. Try a soft pink for the body, then use a slightly deeper shade on the tail so the loop stands out. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on curved lines.
