Mike Wazowski Leaning on a Carved Pumpkin

Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc. is drawn sideways on the page, so turn the sheet to landscape before printing for the best fit. He has a round body, one big eye with a small pupil, little horns, and a wide grin full of wavy teeth. His thin arms and legs stick out to the sides, and one hand is raised and holding what looks like a marker or pen. Next to him sits a big ribbed jack-o'-lantern with a crescent-shaped eye and a jagged, zigzag mouth, both filled in solid black. Try coloring Mike in bright green and the pumpkin in orange, then leave the carved shapes dark so they look like glowing holes. It's a fun page for talking about shapes like circles and crescents. Great for a Halloween classroom table or a rainy afternoon.
