Minecraft Alex Standing With a Pixel Pickaxe

A blocky Minecraft character stands facing forward with a square head, pixel-style hair, square eyes and a small straight mouth. One arm is bent across the body while the other hand holds a pickaxe made of little stacked squares. The torso has a jagged, stepped pattern across the chest, a belt band at the waist, and chunky legs ending in boots. A thin ground line runs behind the feet, with one small raised step on the left side. The large flat sections on the arms, legs and head are easy to fill in, so this works well for younger kids. Try coloring the pickaxe in separate shades, one for the handle and one for the head, then let your child color each tiny square on the tool to practice careful, steady strokes.
