Moana on Tiptoe Looking Back With Her Tall Paddle

A young woman with very long, wind-blown dark hair stands on her toes, holding a tall paddle upright beside her. One hand grips the shaft at chest height and the other reaches higher up the pole. She looks back over her shoulder with a determined expression. She wears a short wrap top, a fabric sash tied at the waist with loose ends, and a skirt with large flower shapes along the hem, plus a fringe of grass-like strands around the bottom. Her feet are bare, and one knee is lifted as if she is mid-step. The big black hair area is easy to fill in, and the flower patterns on the skirt give smaller spaces for detail. Try warm reds and oranges for the wrap and sash, then use greens and yellows for the grass fringe. This free printable also works for talking about ocean voyages and how paddles are used.
