- 1Start with the big body of the mama goat and the kid goat in caramel brown for the mama and cream for the kid, leaving the cream areas and eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the wooden fence rails and the mama goat's head, cheek and tail in caramel brown, keeping the gaps between the rails white.
- 3Fill the mama goat's horns and the kid goat's horn-like bumps in light tan, then add the pink inner ears in soft pink.
- 4Color the hooves, the lower legs and the tiny grass tufts in warm gray, so the feet look grounded.
- 5Keep the background behind the goats and the eye whites white, and leave the kid goat's face and tail cream.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading with a slightly darker shade of brown along the mama goat's belly and legs for depth.
