Nella and Trotter the Horse in a Meadow

A smiling child with short hair and freckles sits on top of a big, happy horse-like creature that walks across a grassy field. The child wears armor with a horseshoe shape on the chest, plus gauntlets, a belt and a boot with a small shield on the leg. The mount has a small horn between its ears, a spiky mane, a long flowing tail, spots on its hip and shaggy tufts of fur around its hooves. Behind them are rolling hills, a few small clouds, a swirling ring in the sky and a puffy bush with sparkles. Small flowers and grass tufts dot the ground. Try coloring the spots and the mane in different shades, then use soft greens for the hills so the characters stand out. The large open areas on the body suit younger kids and chunky crayons.
