Little Owl Under a Round Moon and Three Stars
Coloring guide
A little owl sits on a thick tree branch at night, with a round moon and three stars in the sky above it. Leaves hang from the curving branches, and the big trunk is split into many small sections covered in numbers. Down below, a fox or dog-like animal walks through tufts of grass near the roots. On the right side of the trunk there is a hollow with a pair of round glasses-like eyes peeking out. A color key at the bottom lists eight numbers, from yellow for 1 to grey for 8. Blue fills most of the background, which makes a good night sky. Try pointing out the number 5 sections first and let kids color them in before moving on to the brown trunk and green grass. It is a handy printable for practicing number matching and careful coloring inside the lines.
