Nine Cartoon Faces With Different Expressions and Hairstyles

Nine cartoon heads are arranged in a three by three grid, each with its own hairstyle and mood. The top row shows a man with swept, tousled hair, a smiling woman with closed eyes and wavy hair, and a man with tall spiky hair looking up and to the side. In the middle row, a spiky-haired character with an earring has a small cigarette-like stick in his mouth, a wide-eyed child with messy hair frowns slightly, and a man with heavy-lidded eyes looks off to the side. The bottom row has a heavyset man with a mustache and bushy eyebrows, a smiling girl with big round eyes and small pigtails, and a long-faced character with a big nose and a spiky tuft on top. Try this as a feelings game for a classroom or at home. Kids can name the mood on each face, such as happy, grumpy, surprised, or bored, then pick skin tones, hair colors, and a color that matches each feeling. It is a free printable that also works well for talking about how faces show emotions.
