Ready for battle, this LEGO Ninjago minifigure ninja grips a long pole, with a huge curved axe blade resting over one shoulder. He has swept-up hair, a mask over his lower face, a determined frown, and a tunic with symbols across the chest and a belt at the waist. A stone brick wall stands behind him with jagged rock shapes in front, and the floor is cracked into big flat slabs. The axe blade has flame-like swirls that are fun to fill in. Deep red and orange inside the blade, a dark charcoal suit and gray tones for the bricks would work well. Large shapes suit younger kids, while the small symbols give older kids some detail work. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the wall bricks, the far-left and far-right rocks, and the road stones with light gray, leaving the top corners and the small gap on the left wall white.
- 2Fill the bushes behind the ninja and the ninja's jacket, mask, and chest with grass green.
- 3Color the boots and lower legs with forest green, and add the olive stripe across the left leg.
- 4Fill the road shadows and ground edges with cool gray, then add the hands with bright yellow.
- 5Color the axe blade and staff tip with golden yellow, add amber gold to the axe hub and gold bands, and use chocolate brown for the hair and staff handle.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the bushes and the jacket, and leave small highlights on the axe blade white.
