Ocean Wave Spirals on an Oval Easter Egg

Ocean Wave Spirals on an Oval Easter Egg printable coloring page

Coloring guide

An oval egg outline is filled with large curling spirals that look like ocean waves or wind. Four big spirals sit near the top, left, bottom and right, and each one winds into a small tight center. A few smaller curls fill the gaps, including one near the upper right. Sets of long, curved parallel lines fan out in the upper right, along the left side and across the bottom, so the egg has a mix of wide open shapes and narrow striped bands. The line work is clean and bold, which makes it a good fit for markers or crayons. Try coloring each striped band in alternating shades of one color family, then pick a contrasting color for the open spiral areas. The tiny spiral centers are good practice for kids working on careful, controlled coloring. This printable egg is easy to print and share with a whole group.
