One Long Ribbon Twisting Into a Christmas Tree

Coloring guide
A Christmas tree made from one long ribbon that winds upward in wide loops, getting smaller toward the top. Each loop has a row of small circles along its band, like round ornaments or buttons. At the bottom the ribbon curls out into a loose swirl instead of a trunk, and a snowflake-style star with pointed rays sits above the tip. The lines are clean and open, so the shapes are easy to fill in. Try coloring each loop of the ribbon in a different shade, then pick one color for all the circles so the pattern stands out. It also works well for talking about spirals and counting the circles on each band, since the rows grow shorter as the tree rises. This page is free to print, and markers, crayons, or colored pencils all work nicely on it.
